Society for Professional Economists Annual Dinner 2021
In celebration of our 40th anniversary, we were proud to sponsor the Society for Professional Economists Annual Dinner. John Walker, Chairman and Founder and Adrian Cooper, CEO of Oxford Economics, and several Oxford Economics senior directors were in attendance.
Commenting on the event, Adrian Cooper, CEO of Oxford Economics, said “We were very proud to attend the SPE dinner this year in celebration of our 40th anniversary. Since 1981 we have grown to become one of the world’s foremost global advisory firms, employing over 450 staff—including 300 independent economists and analysts—spread across over 20 offices in all regions of the world. What better place to celebrate this milestone than with our peers and friends within the economics community at the SPE dinner.”
The SPE Annual Dinner was held on Monday 27 September at the Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED. The evening commenced with a drinks reception at 6.30pm followed by a sit-down dinner at 7.00pm. The guest speaker was Andrew Bailey, Governor of the Bank of England.
