David holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics and a B.A. in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.

David is the Managing Director at BIS Oxford Economics and heads the office for Australia and New Zealand. In August 2013 he moved to Sydney to establish the firm and is continuing to grow the business in this region as well as leading key projects within Australia.

Before moving to Australia David worked as part of Oxford Economics’ business development team in London. Prior to joining Oxford Economics he worked for KPMG as a management consultant, specialising in financial risk management including stress testing and scenario analysis. During this time he was also seconded to the main Financial Services regulatory body, the Financial Services Authority (FSA). He completed his degree in Economics at Nottingham University and also studied the chartered institute for securities investment diploma.

She started her professional career at the Mexican Senate as Junior Advisor. She has also worked in business development for French companies in the sectors of tourism and fintech which has gained her experience in B2B sales and partnerships. She holds a BA in International Studies from UDLA Mexico City, Mx. and a Master in International Management from IGR-IAE in Rennes, France. Debora is fluent in Spanish, English, Italian and French.

Débora joined Oxford Economics in April 2021 and is based in our Mexico City office. She is responsible for Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Costa Rica’s macroeconomic coverage, and is also involved in Latin America’s regional thematic research.

Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Débora spent two years in BCP, the largest bank in Peru, providing macroeconomic forecasts and financial advisory. Formerly, she worked as an analyst covering international economics at the Treasury Department of Peru, monitoring and analyzing global economic conditions.

Débora holds two masters degrees, being the most recent an MSc in International Trade, Finance and Development at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, part of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics in 2018. Prior to that, she completed an MSc in Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru (PUCP), in Lima, in 2015. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Debra D'Agostino founded Oxford Economics’ Thought Leadership division in 2011 and serves as its managing director. She oversees a global team of editors, researchers and analysts who conduct ground-breaking research programs in partnership with the world’s most forward-looking organizations, on topics ranging from business transformation, emerging technology, diversity and inclusion, talent and leadership to risk management and corporate finance. Debra also leads Oxford Economics’ global consulting business development team, serves as co-managing director for the firm’s operations in the Americas, and is a member of Oxford Economics’ global Senior Management Team.

Debra joined the firm from the Economist Intelligence Unit, the research arm of the Economist Group, where she led the company's business research department for the Americas. Prior to the EIU, she served as an editor and writer at CIO Insight, the award-winning business and technology strategy journal she helped launch at Ziff Davis Media in 2001. She holds a bachelor of science in journalism from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

He has over 15 years’ professional experience obtained in key public and private sector institutions. Before joining OE Africa, Deon worked in different senior economic, advisory, management, and analytical capacities at key national government departments, private firms, consultancies, development organisations, and energy and Africa integration programmes. Deon has a M.Com degree in Economics with specialisation in Energy from North-West University. His special interests are in sustainable economic development, macroeconomics, energy transitions, systems, markets and industry development, environmental responsibility, socio-economic upliftment, infrastructure development, policy development, business management, and strategy formulation.

She has managed a large number of consulting projects over the past 8 years that fall into the areas of thought leadership and economic and social impact for a wide range of clients. Her wider experience spans over 20 years and she currently manages account relationships for Oxford’s professional service firms, technology, manufacturing, and financial services. She is the Technology category leader for the consulting team at Oxford Economics.

Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Diantha worked at the Economist Group, Forbes Inc., and BusinessWeek Magazine. She has a BA with a double major in Political Science and French from Denison University.

Dmitriy Gruzinov is a Lead Economist at Oxford Economics, primarily responsible for managing the European Cities Forecasting service. He has extensive knowledge of sub-national data analysis and modelling, and has worked on a wide range on consultancy projects. Another key area of his expertise is modelling national and regional consumer spending by detailed categories.

Dmitriy graduated from the University of Bath, where he first obtained a BSc (Hons) Economics degree and then a distinction in MSc Economics and Finance. During his placement year Dmitriy worked at Cambridge Econometrics, where he gained his first experience of economic analysis.

Since first joining Oxford Economics in 2009, Doug has delivered a large number of economic impact studies concerned with companies, sectors, and investment projects. Recent studies that he has made a major contribution to include those for the Independent Schools Council (ISC), the head teachers’ professional association (HMC), the Railway Industry Association (RIA), ASOS, Reckitt, and Motability, as well as the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), European Steel Association (Eurofer), European motorcycle manufacturers’ association (ACEM), World Brewing Alliance (WBA), and several businesses and institutions across the Middle East.

He previously spent 20 years at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), culminating in positions as Head of Economic Analysis and Head of Economic and Fiscal Policy. He holds two degrees in economics—BSc(Econ) and MPhil—having studied at University College London and Brasenose College, Oxford.

Editorial Director Edward Cone oversees global research programs for our Thought Leadership group. As Technology Practice Lead he works with clients such as Google, Accenture, IBM, SAP, and many others. Edward joined the firm in 2012 after more than two decades as a business and technology journalist based in New York, Paris, and North Carolina, including stints as an editor and writer at various Ziff Davis magazines (CIO Insight, Baseline), a contributing editor at Wired, and a staff writer at Forbes.

Edward also wrote a weekly newspaper opinion column for many years in his hometown of Greensboro, NC and authored a semi-popular blog. He has contributed to a bewildering variety of magazines and papers on topics ranging from politics to rock climbing and was a frequent speaker and organizer at new media conferences across the country. Honors for his work include the 2020 Rybczynski Prize, awarded for the best essay on economics by Society of Professional Economists, and various awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors and the North Carolina Press Association. He has a BA from Haverford College.

In addition to consultancy work, Elliot produces regular forecasts and country reports for Israel and Bangladesh. Elliot holds a BSc (first-class honours) and MSc (Distinction) in Economics from The University of Bristol. In his dissertation, Elliot explored the relationship between government debt and economic growth utilising a dynamic panel econometric model.
